A graduate of the Bangladesh Marine Academy (24th Batch), he has over 20 years of sailing experience as Chief Engineer across various vessel types and more than 5 years as a Marine Surveyor.
Bay Shipping Services was established by Chief Engineer Azadur Rahman, a highly experienced professional with over three decades in the marine profession. As Managing Director, he is committed to transforming the company into a powerful commercial entity, providing reliable crew management and ship-related services worldwide. His leadership is guided by integrity, technical excellence, and a vision to strengthen Bangladesh’s role in global shipping.
Mar Engr-Maruf Muhammad Jahirul Islam

Engineer Maruf Md. Jahirul Islam, born in 1977 in Noakhali, Bangladesh, is the son of respected teachers Muhammad Abu Taher and Laila Arjumand Bhanu. He graduated in Marine Engineering from MFA. With an illustrious maritime career, Mr. Maruf’s vision founded the Pacific Ocean Group. Beyond business, he serves as Chairman of Abu Taher Master Foundation, GCSM, OMA & OMS, Advisor to MFA Ex-Cadet Association & SBDA, and Sr. VP of BSMAA. He earned prestigious awards, including The Influential Young Millionaires in Bangladesh (2021), Iconic Star Young Entrepreneur (2022), Best Businessman (2023), and Social Awareness (2023). Dedicated to social responsibility, he promotes education, community development, and youth empowerment, making him an inspirational leader and a pioneer in the maritime sector.
Md. Abdul Motin

Md Abdul Motin is a dynamic entrepreneur in Bangladesh’s shipping sector. A graduate in Computer Science and Engineering , he entered the maritime industry in 2011 and has since focused on advancing the crewing sector. In 2015, he introduced technology-driven crewing solutions with emphasis on transparency and authenticity, helping modernize recruitment practices for Bangladeshi seafarers. Trained at ABS Academy Singapore, he holds international certifications in Company Security Officer (CSO), Incident Investigation, HSQE & Internal Audit, Risk Assessment, and SMS/DPA Implementation. Recognized for his contributions, he was elected Director of the Bangladesh Ship Manning Agents Association (2023–24) and currently serves as Vice President of BMMEA, where he is committed to strengthening Bangladesh’s global maritime presence and seafarer welfare.
Capt. Parthasarathy Das

Capt. Parthasarathy Das, graduated from Bangladesh Marine Academy (BMA 30th batch) & pursued a MSc. degree in Port & Shipping management from Bangladesh Maritime University,Dhaka. Sailing worldwide for 29 years he has mostly sailed on Chemical tanker trade with a number of reputed shipping companies as Tokyo Marine Japan, Fleet Management Ltd, Hong Kong , OMCI- Germany and presently sailing with Gulf Energy Maritime (GEM FZCO), Dubai, UAE Chemical tanker fleet for 17+ years, where he was the 1st Bangladesh national to have received the In-Fleet promotion to the rank of Master. Founder & Managing Director, Aquamarine Bangladesh Ltd, inception during 2010. He is engaged growing up maritime recruitment prospects & rightmost placement for Bangladeshi Seafarers in the worldwide shipping industry.

Beyond his entrepreneurial success, he was elected Director of BMMEA (2023–2024) and now serves as Assistant General Secretary (2025–2026), actively contributing to national forums that shape the country’s maritime direction. Mr S. M. Rejaul Hosen serves as the General Manager of A. Z. Shipping Services, a distinguished SRPS-licensed crewing agency supporting global fleets since 1990. With over seven years of leadership, he upholds the company’s legacy of trust, compliance, and excellence in maritime manning. A graduate in Statistics from the University of Chittagong and an MBA in HRM from Independent University, Bangladesh, Mr. Hosen brings strategic clarity and organizational strength drawn from his earlier banking career. As Organizing Secretary of BMMEA, he contributes vision, discipline, and dedication—bridging industry needs with national pride. His work echoes a quiet commitment to advancing Bangladesh’s maritime footprint through professionalism, partnerships, and people-first values.

Chief Engineer MD.M. R. Mondal is a Class-01 Marine Engineer (Singapore) and a certified DPA, CSO, and MLC-2006 professional. M.S.C in (Maritime Transport& Logistics) He is the Managing Director of MW Ship Management Ltd. (IMO No: 0285063) and Falcon Marine Service Ltd. (SRPS License: MLA-0113). With extensive experience in ship management, Crew management, Dry-docking, Vessel inspections & Audits. He brings over years of technical and leadership expertise to the maritime sector. Under his guidance, both companies have maintained strong operational standards and global compliance. His professional journey reflects a steadfast commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory excellence, making him a respected figure in Bangladesh’s maritime industry.

Captain S. M. Sazzedeen is the Managing Director of Gemini Maritime Agency Bangladesh (MLA-117), a rising name in the nation’s SRPS landscape. A proud cadet of the 38th batch of Bangladesh Marine Academy, he sailed globally—mainly with World Tankers Management Pte Ltd—and took his first command in 2017. After his final voyage as Master in 2021, he founded Gemini Maritime in 2022, now serving esteemed international principals. An Associate Fellow of Nautical Institute, UK (AFNI), he also mentors future seafarers as a visiting lecturer. As a visionary and strategist, he fuses seafaring wisdom with leadership foresight, committed to advancing Bangladeshi maritime excellence with integrity, knowledge, and an enduring passion for global-standard manning.
